Julie St – Pierre        Owner & Clinical Director

Julie is celebrating 15 years in practice this year. She is pleased that Stillwater Speech Therapy is offering teletherapy speech-language  services for all of Nova Scotia. Julie is nationally certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is a registered member of the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists (NSCASLP).

In addition to providing speech therapy services for children and adults, Julie has worked with the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education as part of their workshop series.  Workshops cover topics on learning through play, as well as language and literacy enhancement in the classroom environment. Julie also teaches undergraduate university courses with the Department of Child and Youth Study at Mount Saint Vincent University. She has also served as a clinical educator for Dalhousie University’s School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and has supervised the Communication Group and Book Club programs for the Dalhousie Aphasia Clinic.

Julie graduated with her Masters of Science from Dalhousie University and has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Child & Youth Study. Over the last 20 years, she has worked with children and adults with exceptionalities, providing support for adults in community living placements, providing respite support, and delivering home-based programming and intervention for preschool and school age children with communication disorders.
